Ich versuche die Faktoren und Umstände aufzu-zeigen, die für das Gelingen eines Shootings entscheidend sind, wobei es nicht um fotografisches Fachsimpeln oder um Blende und Zeit geht (Diese Fragen können gerne in der anschliessenden Diskussion erörtert werden.).<br> Mount Everest<br> Dauer ca. 1 3/4 Stunden<br> Inhalt: <br> 2001 stand ich auf dem Gipfel des Mount Everest. Ich war für dieses Expedition als Kameramann für‘s Schweizer Fensehen und als Fotograf für die Schweizer Illustrierte engagiert worden. 10 Jahre früher scheiterte ich am extrem schwierigen Westgrat und anschliessend auf der Südcolroute auf 8300m. In meinem Vortrag zeige ich die verschiedenen Aspekte einer Everest Expedition. Ich habe den Berg auf drei Routen kennengelernt. Einmal in einer Kleinexpedition ohne künstlichen Sauerstoff und ohne Hochträger, einmal in einer kommerziellen Expediton mit aller nur denkbaren Unterstützung. Everest - der Berg, dessen Besteigung in der Oeffentlichkeit meist überschätzt wird, Everest - der Berg, dessen Gefährlichkeit von vielen Aspiranten unterschätzt wird. In the show I try to bring over the decisive factors and conditions that contribute to making a shoot. However, the show is not concerned with the basics of photography, nor with contrasts and timing, but I'll be happy to look at these aspects of photography in the discussion time at the end of the show. <br> Mount Everest<br> Duration about 1¾ hours<br> Contents:<br> In 2001 I stood on the summit of Mount Everest. In that expedition I had been hired as a cameraman by the Swiss Television and as photographer by the "Schweizer Illustrierte" magazine. Ten years previously I had failed on Everest's extremely difficult western ridge and later at 8300 m. on the route over the south pass. In my presentation I show the various aspects of an expedition to Mount Everest, the mountain I have gotten to know by ascending it on three different routes. One of these trips was a small expedition done with neither artificial oxygen nor with porters; and another was a commercial expedition with all the support you could possibly imagine.
